My Story

From comparatively modest circumstances to the corner office. Abridged, for your convenience.

IBeginnings

I noticed, early, how people treated success. Not what successful people did; how a room changed when they walked into it. I wanted that.

I kept my clothes immaculate before I could afford good ones (a discipline, not a vanity), and I practised speaking with confidence until it stopped being practice.

IIThe Ventures

FlowThreads, premium resale. The market wasn’t ready. Capacitor & Associates, marketing, full service; the associates were pending. FLOW™ Apparel, a branding-first strategy some years ahead of its time (more brochures than shirts). Momentum Strategy Group, consulting: vision precedes experience.

Learning experiences, all of them. Expensive ones.

IIIThe Opportunity

Then came the opportunity of a lifetime. I’d rather not dwell on how it came about. What matters is what I made of it.

IVThe Office

I took a collection of experiments and made it an institution: standards, structure, a boardroom, and a chair worthy of it. Every milestone since has been the product of discipline and vision (see The Record).

VFriendship

People ask about Flux. Wonderful fellow. Brilliant in his own rather unconventional way. We’ve known each other for years.

(He has never once been impressed by a milestone. I keep him informed regardless.)

VIToday

I lead. It is what I do best, and frankly it is what Nuxtre needs.

In his own words

“I know what it takes.”

People love to talk about vision. Very few understand what it actually takes to execute one.
